is a Bilingual/Bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. Yesenia has worked in various settings including Child Protective Services, Intensive In-Home Services, and Wellness Health Promotion & Prevention Services. She received her MSW from Barry University and BSW from Virginia Commonwealth University and received training at the Trauma Center. She is dedicated and passionate about working with young adults, families including healers, minorities and emerging professionals. She has experience working with youth and families which are predominantly minorities that have experienced disruption, considered high-risk, and experience issues related to acculturation, assimilation, depression, and Trauma. Yesenia firmly believes in taking a healing justice stance when addressing the trauma of marginalized persons promoting healing in all its forms and collective power.

I have 12 years of working with adolescents, young adults and families in residential and outpatient clinical settings. I have extensive clinical experience working with people that have been impacted by:
